Helen Brezenski, age 80, of Columbus, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Morys Haven in Columbus. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment: Ss. Patrick/Joseph Cemetery, Platte Center NE. Helen was born March 9, 1933 in Spalding, Nebraska to Joseph and Gertrude (Kowalski) Szatko. She received her education in Greeley County Schools. Helen married Virgil Brezenski on April 3, 1950. Helen worked at BD for 26 years until her retirement in 1996. She enjoyed farming with her husband, family, crocheting and church.
