Memorial services for Allen L. Molitor, age 77, of Casper, WY formerly of Lemmon, SD, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Prince of Peace Chapel of the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon, SD. Pastor Florence Hoff will officiate with burial to follow in the Greenhill Cemetery at Lemmon. Allen passed away on April 6, 2013 at his home in Casper, WY. Allen enjoyed many types of racing, including Trans Am and was a stock car driver himself, racing throughout the U.S. He had ownership in his family's car dealership. He also assisted the family rural route mail contractors. Allen enjoyed the family farm and livestock. He also volunteered as a community fireman and scuba diver. At age 16 he soloed to achieve his pilot's license, to be the youngest pilot in the U.S.; at that time. Allen was also a musician and drummer. He was employed at Frontier Auto and Tripeny Auto. Allen was a member or the Casper Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife, Kay, Casper, WY; his children, Sue (Tom) Deason, Phoenix, AZ, Brenda Molitor, Casper, WY and Anthony "Tony" (Rebecca) Molitor, Las Vegas, ND; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aldene Powers, Lemmon, SD and Arlis Greco Sunnyvale, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Agnes Molitor. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lemmon Nutritional Center would be appreciated.
