Billy Askew McCormick age 79 of Snyder, TX, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness. Services for Billy McCormick will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM at East Side Church of Christ with Mr. Tom Holcomb officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Mr. McCormick was born on December 08, 1933 in Snyder, TX to Claude and Violet ( Askew) McCormick. He married JoAnn Gee on April 02, 1953 in Snyder, Tx.. Mr. McCormick was a self employed Gas and Oil Marketer. He was a member of East Side Church of Christ. He is survived by: His wife Joann McCormick Three daughters Marci Dennis and husband Mike of Snyder, TX Terrie Piel and husband Jimmy of Odessa, TX Lori Wells and husband Brent of Plainview, TX Three brothers Beecher McCormick and wife Joy of Abilene, TX C. E. McCormick Jr. and wife Barbara of Snyder, TX Keith McCormick and wife Freida of Waco, TX One sister Linda Heath of Salado, TX Five Granddaughters Chrystal Long of Austin, TX Jodi Mandrell and husband Cory of Dennison, TX Laney Dulakis and husband Billy of Lubbock, TX Hollie Wells of Planview, TX Karley Wells of Plainview, TX One grandson Jared Dennis and wife Meagan of Chicago , IL Four Great Grandchildren Ethan Long Mason Mandrell Gavin Mandrell Deacon Mandrell And numerous nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby McCormick Visitation will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home.
