Loy Lora CASTLEBERRY was born 28 Oct 1912 in Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas, USA, and died 12 Jun 2000 in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, USA. She was buried 14 Jun 2000 in Vernon in Eastview Memorial Park, Wilbarger County, Texas, USA. She married George Dennis LISENBEE 29 Jul 1932, son of George Walter LISENBEE and Evaline Elizabeth ENSEY. He was born 18 Jun 1909, and died 15 Oct 1968 in Lubbock County, Texas, USA. Loy Lora Lisenbee Former Vernon resident Loy Lora Lisenbee, 87, of Idalou, died Monday, June 12, 2000, in a Lubbock hospital. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at White Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Idalou with the Rev. Charles Gray of the First Baptist Church of Idalou officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Eastview Cemetery in Vernon. Lisenbee was born Oct 28, 1912, in Vernon, a daughter of Wesley Benjamin and Alta Lou Hill Castleberry. She attended Vernon schools and married George Dennis Lisenbee Sr. in July of 1932 in Vernon. He preceded her in death on Oct 15, 1968 A resident of Idalou since 1957, when she moved from Vernon, she worked in the dietary unit of St. Mary Hospital for 10 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Idalou. Surviving are a brother, Ed Castleberry of Amarillo; two sisters; Velma Zukoski of Lorenzo and Ila Pollock of Lubbock; and a number of nieces and nephews. An infant son, George Lisenbee Jr. also preceded her in death, in August of 1950. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 918, Idalou, Tex, 7932
