He died Sunday night at his home. Dr. Bobby Renfro will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. He was born Jan. 2, 1946 in Greenville to V.T. and Ethelyn Hall Banks. He married Kathy McDaniel on March 19, 1965 in Greenville. The owner of Banks Farm Store was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of Greenville; his mother, of Greenville; a son, Lance Banks of Greenville; three daughters, Paige Banks, Shelli Banks and Hayley Banks, all of Greenville; a brother, J.E. Banks of Greenville and two sisters, Mrs. Sharon R. Allen of Pennsylvania and Mrs. Helen Reed of Midland. He was preceded in death by his father, on Jan. 4, 1974, and a sister, Brenda Banks, in 1959 Pallbearers will be Danny Keene, Bobby Crouch, Harold Wilson, Johnny Walker, Billy Pitts and Wallace Hefner. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
