Bio

Duard C. Winn, age 81, of Fayetteville, TN passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at United Regional Medical Center in Manchester, TN. Mr. Winn was born in Lincoln County, TN on July 3, 1932 to the late Rev. Unice L. & Roxie I. Humphries Winn. He was retired from Post Cereals in Battle Creek, MI, and also worked as a farmer, a car salesman for Powers Enterprise Auto Sales and was a member of McBurg Baptist Church. He returned to Fayetteville in 2004 after the death of his late wife, Virginia "Jini" Stevens Winn. In addition to his parents and first wife, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tressie Cruise and brothers, Earl, Buford, Gilbert and Troy Winn. Mr. Winn is survived by his wife, Mamie Odell Winn; daughters, Sheryl & David Danke and Darla & Don Mitchell, both of Fayetteville, TN; sons, Greg Vaccaro and Ryan Flores, both of Michigan; step-daughters, Vickie Owens, Brenda & Bobby Bryant, Teressia & Jimmy Barnes; step-sons, Tony & Emily Mitchell, Glen & Tammy Michell, Joe Mitchell and Johnny Mitchell; sisters, Vernell & Mike Burger of Murfreesboro, TN, Evelyn & Leon Mayhall of Section, AL; brother, Dillard & Beth Winn of Monroe, LA; five grandchildren: Archie & Mary Mears, Trisha & Bryan Halder, Eric & Carole Turner, Eron & Isabel Turner, Nathan Turner; six great grandchildren: Garrett, Brayton, Logan, Anna Grace, Christian, Kayley; eight step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Flintville Cemetery with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. at Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home.
