Bio
Shirley Jean Oliver, a resident of Cleveland for 40 years, passed away Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home. She was born January 24, 1937 in Eastgate, Texas to parents Herbert and Minnie Fregia; her son Herbert Traxler; and daughter Nancy Traxler Barnett. She was a homemaker and deeply devoted to her family. She loved to fish, shop, Wheel of Fortune, and Days of Our Lives but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years John Henry Oliver; brother Luther Fregia; grandchildren Corie Hancock, Terrie Traxler, Johnny L. Green Jr., Tina Padar, Wendy Manners, and Victoria Hamilton; her loving K-9 friends and companions "Happy" and "Biscuit"; many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Pastor Nick Vann will preside over funeral services being held at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Cleveland Memorial Cemetery.
