Bio

Educated in Loup City and farmed in that area. He worked on a rail gang for the Union Pacific Railroad and was a truck driver for the alfalfa mill in Cairo. After his marriage to Lydia, they moved to Grand Island where he worked at Fairmont Dairy and later at Fairacres Dairy retiring in 1977. Survived by two daughters and a sister, Hazel. Preceded in death by his wife and brothers, Fred, Charlie and George and sisters, Rachel Timmons, Pearl Fitzgerald, Grace Bjorling, Mable Brittin, Viola Nichols and Margaret Nichols.
