Ruby L. Byram 1909 - 2001 Funeral services for Ruby L. Byram, 90, of Emory were held Friday, January 19, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel in Emory with Rev. Jimmy Jarrett officiating. Burial followed in Smyrna Cemetery. Ms. Byram died January 17 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Emory. She was born in Rains County on August 8, 1909, to Simon and Mary Ellen Ragland Byram. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. Survivors include nieces, Geneva Coats and Betty Shreves, both of Emory, Vestell Mauldin of Dallas, Esta Lee Pope of Alba, Pearl Willingham of Kaufman, Marie Bryant of Rockwall; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
