Bio

Mitchell Daily Republic; Tues., 8 Mar 1949; p12 Dante, S.D. - Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Dante, Feb 28 for Frank Turek, 71, who died at Tucson, Ariz., while enroute home from a trip to the west coast with a sister and her husband. Born in Czechoslovakia, he came to America in 1884 and lived in Nebraska. He migrated by covered wagon to Charles Mix county, when it opened for settlement. In 1903 he married Barbara Rados at Tyndall. She died last July. Survivors include two brothers and three sisters.
