Bejvancesky, 84, of Fremont was this morning at Czech Presbyterian Church in rural Wahoo. She died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at Arbor Manor. She was born Sept. 24, 1920, to Louis J. and Frances (Pallas) Novak in rural Malmo. She attended District No. 97 elementary school and graduated from Malmo High School. She married Edward Bejvancesky March 2, 1944, at Czech Presbyterian Church near Wahoo. They farmed at Ceresco and Wahoo, then after her husband began working for the Army Corps of Engineers, they lived in Lake Andes, S.D., Bullhead City, Ariz., Dutch John, Utah, Montrose, Colo., Norfolk, Aurora and Grand Island. She was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Ceresco Chapter No. 198, Czech Presbyterian Church and American Legion Auxiliary No. 232. Survivors include: a daughter, Merna (and husband, Merlin) Kempke of Fremont, a brother, William Novak of Omaha, two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. Burial was in Sunrise North Cemetery, Wahoo.
