Evan Hines Doc Deans brother to W A J Deans and son of David & Jensey Bryant Deans was a Civil War soldier captured in Savannah Ga. He was not living with his wife Ora Taylor at time of death. He was living at the Old Soldier's Home in Raleigh. He had boarded the train to come visit his brother Jack and caught cold and died at the home place. He went by the name Doc a stone was placed on his grave in 2008 by myself and the SCV. I do have a picture of him.
