OBITUARY SMITH MOSES ABRAHAM; 74 passed away Monday, August 17, 1998 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on July 15, 1924 in McKinney, Texas. A resident of Irving for many years, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Smith was a retired transmission & distribution Supervisor for Texas Power & Light Co., a member of Mesquite Lodge #928 and James V. Callan Dallite Lodge #1422, Scottish Rite, Valley of Dallas, York Rite, A.C. Garrett Commandery #103, Knight Templar Eye Foundation, York Rite Lovefield Chapter #478, Council #396, Lyle L. Cross York Rite College #147, A life member of Hella Shrine Temple, Greeters of Hella Temple, Peace Officers of Hella Temple, a past President, current Treasurer, Hospital Chairman and charter member of Irving Shrine Club, and he worked many years with the Hella Shrine Circus. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Jewel Smith of Irving, Son & Daughter-In-Law: Aubre Noel & Lynn Smith of Lake Texhoma, Tx., Son & Daughter-In-Law: Holland & Janice Pippin of Mineral Wells, Tx., Daughter & Son-In-Law; Vonda & Travis Cook of Jacksboro, Tx., Grand Children: Aubre & Kristen Smith of Arlington, Tx., Hollie & Lon Lively of Palo Pinto, Tx., Deanna & Stoney Burk of Aledo, Tx., James & Christina Pippin of Alvarado., Tx., D.J. & Ashley Sherrod of Mineral Wells, Tx., Several Great Grand Children, Sister: Mary Lou Cummings and Brother; Warren I. Smith both of McKinney, TX, Special Cousins: Cecile Fisher and her children Jack Noel Cannaday, Suzanne King and Jim Cannaday all of Frisco, Tx. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 19, 1998 at 10:00 am. at Kirkwood United Methodist Church. Interment at Rowlett Cemetery near Frisco, TX. at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Glenn Pierce and Rev. Elmer Leon Cummings will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chism & Smith Funeral Home.
