Mrs. Doris Guffey Stephens Sep 29, 1935 - May 16, 2024 Mrs. Doris Guffey Stephens, age 88, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at her home with family by her side. She is survived by her sons, Robin Stephens of Skyline, AL., Ardie (Jana) Stephens of Skyline, AL., Dennis Stephens of Soddy Davis, TN., Glenn Stephens of Hixson, TN.; grandsons, Casper Stephens, Creigh Stephens, Jesse Stephens, Zach Stephens; granddaughters, Amberly Shetters, Chaselyn Stephens, Madison Stephens; great grandchildren, Zander Stephens, Cooper Stephens, Paisley Shetters, Hudson Stephens, Autumn Shetters, Jonah Stephens, Bo Stephens; brother, Lowell Guffey; sisters, Margie McGill (JC), Daphine Clark (Neal); sister in-laws, Christine Guffey, Shirley Sanders (Bobbie); brother in-law, Irlen Stephens (Annel). She was preceded in death by her husband, Varnell Stephens; son, Marvin Stephens; parents, Brother Frank Guffey and Sister Lila Guffey; brothers, Glenn Guffey, Earl Guffey; sisters, Edna Keeton, and Mildree Stephens. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at the Skyline Holiness Church with Bro. Blake Gifford, and Bro. Darrell Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Mrs. Doris Guffey Stephens will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at the Skyline Holiness Church. Arrangements Entrusted to Scottsboro Funeral Home
