Bio

Henry was at one time a deputy sheriff in San Augustine, Texas. He married his first wife Mary Lizbeth Mitchell on May 25, 1889. They had 7 children: Benjamin, Anna, W.H., Murray, Arthur, Orvan, and Lawrence. W.H. and Murray died as children. He later moved to El Paso where he married his second wife Eulalia Vasquez on June 20, 1925. They had two daughters: Amelia and Eulalia. Eulalia died as a young child. He wrote letters to his brother William Freeman Fitzgerald frequently. He was either a night watchman or a night police in El Paso when he was struck and killed by a car coming home from work. He also worked for the Works Progress Administration (WPA). on TX death certificate birth year is 1878
