Daughter of Maurice & Luttie Y. (White) Maloney Married Walter Higgins on 1/3/1942 in Palmyra,MO Sons: William Robert & Ronald Eugene As a teenager Lola worked at Bagley's Service Statin and Kitchen Counter in Bartonville (where she met Walter)and attended Manual Training School in Peoria. She later worked for Laidlaw & Co. in Bartonville and credit manager at the Montgomery Ward Catalog store in Pekin for 10 years. She retired after 25 years at the American Saving & Loan in Pekin, serving as teller, assistant secretary , assistant treasurer then Vice President. Memorial donations: Emmanuel Community Church of Pekin or the American Heart Association
