Bio
Josephine Margaret Gonnuscio Suprise, age 81, of Lehi, passed away in her home July 23, 2005. She was born February 23, 1924 to Charles Sabastano and Josephine Gonnuscio, in Centerville, Utah. She married James Peter Suprise May 31, 1974 in Elko, NV. Josephine was the last survivor of 18 children. She loved to play guitar with her friend, Rubio; and also embroidered and made many blankets. She loved going to and having yard sales, and always enjoyed antique shopping. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grand-mother will be deeply missed by all her loved ones. Survived by her husband, Jim; sons and daughters, Cass Williams, Mary Ann (Gerald) Schmidt, Gary (Jenny) Shunk, Bobby (Claudia) Shunk, Danny Shunk, Timmy (Pam) Shunk, DeeAnn (Dennis) Seargant, KC (Karen) Williams, Lee Ann Hill, J.R. (Debbie) Williams, Stacey Williams, Ronnie (Shau-na) Land, Carol Norr; 10 children by marriage, Verna Lynn (Tony), Shaunna Ann (Tim), Ethel Louise, Wendall (Lor-raine), JP, Leonoard Scott (Marilee), Jay John, G G Louise, Kathy, Launa Sue; 76 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at 12 noon, in the Lehi East Stake Center, 900 N. 1200 E. Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. Interment, Centerville Memorial Park, 550 S. 400 E., Centerville, UT. The family would like to express a special thanks to Cassandra and Don Anderson for all their tender loving care they have given Josephine. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on 7/25/2005.
