Bio
Lillian Elzada McCoard Hayter, age 72, a resident of Veguita, NM passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, surrounded by family. Lillian was born in Idaho and raised in various locations finally settling in northern California. Lillian was baptized in 1951 and married LeRoy Hayter in 1958. Lillian worked as a short order cook at St. Joseph's Hospital in Eureka, California. Lillian moved to Out There, New Mexico in 1990 with her sister, May and her family. Besides the love she had for her family, she loved to explore new places, new ideas, and was fascinated by cooking and antiques. Lillian is survived by her daughters, Kathleen, Lori, Terri and son-in-law, Dean, her grandchildren, Denise and her partner, Debbie, Gwen, Amber, Macie, Michell and Mark, her great-grandchildren, Oznea, Maxwell, Leon and Cherokee and her siblings, Jennie, Ruth and her husband, Larry, Dan and his wife, Loretta, May and her husband, Terry, Larry and George and his wife, Debbie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Belen, New Mexico. Her interment will be in Mendocino, California with her parents, Richard and Lillian.
