The Casper Tribune Thursday, June 17, 1965 Page 2 Lander Youth, 7, Is Killed in Crash Ely, Nev. (UPI) - A seven-year-old Lander, Wyo., youth was killed Wednesday when a car in which he was riding backed over a cliff. The victim was identified as Kim Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Francis Thompson of Lander. The senior Thompson, 27, was driving the car. Another child suffered serious injuries. Officials said Thompson was trying out a new small foreign car he intended to buy. He swayed the wheels back and forth and the car went out of control and down an embankment.
