Bio
Haddie M. Zalkovsky, 91, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Friday, July 19, 2013. A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m., Monday, July 22, 2013, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis. Graveside services will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Ennis, with Father John Dick, officiating. Haddie Mary was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank and Annie (Vrla) Patak. She married Paul Zalkovsky in Ennis on November 5, 1940. She was member of KJZT, WFLA # 401, and a lifetime member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. She liked being called Miss Haddie by the nursing home staff. Haddie is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul Zalkovsky; three brothers; and a sister. Survivors include her sons, James Zalkovsky and his wife, Belinda, of Temple, and Gary Zalkovsky, of Ennis; daughters, Irene Kadlubar and Peggy Zabojnik, both of Ennis; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Patak, of Ennis; sister, Geraldine Spaniel, of Ennis; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
