Edith Hroza, 86, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013, in Ennis, Texas. A Celebration of her life will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Edith was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Frank and Helen (Haskovec) Jaresh. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1944. On June 5, 1945 she married Louis J. Hroza, Jr. and they made their home in Ennis since 1948. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST and KJZT #25. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard and she also enjoyed reading westerns. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Hroza, Jr., on August 7, 2001. Survivors include her son, Alan Hroza and his wife, Reta, of Ennis; grandchildren, Brandon Hroza and his wife, Heather, of Ennis, and Stephanie Davenport and her husband, Jonathon, of Richardson; and six grandchildren.
