Maxine was a homemaker and member of the Artesia First Christian Church where she was active in Christian Women's Fellowship and often held positions in the church as deaconess. She often gave scripture-based lessons as part of being a CWF member and was active in the church choir. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Frank Temple Cass and Anthony Mac Cass. Survivors include sons William Burr Cass of Roswell, Robert Ben Cass of Houston, Texas, and Rodrick Wyn Cass of Roswell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Artesia First Christian Church; New Mexico Boys Ranch; or the Vietnam Veterans Memorial (Angel Fire, NM).
