Lois Bookout, has been reunited in heaven with her parents Eli and Emma Buxton, husband Gordon Bookout, siblings: Ona (Buxton) Spencer, Downs Buxton, Morris Buxton, Otis Buxton; and son-in-law Gary Robison. * Lois, a faithful member at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene over 40 years, was a Sunday School teacher for many years and a choir member for nearly as many as she was a member of church. Lois was a seamstress for pleasure and made many of the costumes worn even today for programs at church. She was known very well for her famous Banana Pudding that many times sold for over $100 in the Youth Group fundraiser. Lois loved the Lord, her family, and church. Lois wore many hats in her life: Wife, Mom, Grandma, Mema, Mamo, GG, "Nannie"(although more of a grandmother), Friend, Sister, and Aunt. Lois was a very active mother, involved as a Homeroom Mom, Girl Scout Leader, Den Mother, Cheerleader Sponsor and Drill Team Sponsor. She loved being part of her children's lives. The family welcomes flowers or you may honor Lois with donations to Regency Park Church of the Nazarene, 8707 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK 74145. Visitation will be at Fitzgerald's Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 East 91st, Tulsa, OK, on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene, 8707 East 51st Street, Tulsa.
