Loraine Groves Chenault Loraine Groves Chenault, 81, of La Marque, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2002. Mrs. Chenault was born October 10,1920, in Murphy, Texas, to William and Willie Dee Groves. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, August 16, 2002, starting at 7 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2002, at the funeral home with Hank Beam officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Hitchcock. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyne Crouch of Algoa and Patsy Beam of La Marque; adopted daughter Jacquelyn Donaldson; two brothers, Owen Groves and J. D. Groves; five grandchildren, Ricky, Duke and Sharon Crouch, Beverly and Buster Beam; seven great-grandchildren Ronnie Medina, Scooter and Jessica Woody, Christopher and Courtney Kenney, Harley Nicole and Joshua Rhea Crouch. Pallbearers are Buster Beam, David Donaldson, Charles Young, Martin Anders, Teddy Herrera and J.R. Tackett. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Medina and Scooter Woody.
