Anna Marie Divis: Newspaper Obituary and Death Notice Daily Oklahoman, The (Oklahoma City, OK) - Wednesday, February 16, 1983 Deceased Name: Anna Marie Divis DIVIS Anna Marie, age 80, passed away Feb. 14, 1983 at Bone and Joint Hospital after an extended illness. Services are 2 pm Thurs. at the Turner Funeral Home. Yukon, OK. Born in Prague, OK on Aug. 19, 1902 to Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Zajic. She has 1 sister Mrs. Mary Prazak of Hennessey, OK, 1 brother Frank Zajic, of Yukon both preceaded her in death. Anna married Roy Divis on Aug. 30, 1921. They settled on a farm south of Yukon where they lived until 1963 when they moved to Yukon. Mr. Divis passed a way in 1969. Anna was very active in various farm clubs and she was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and Jan Ziska Z.C.B.J. Lodge in Yukon. She served on various commities at the Czech Hall for over 25 years. She was very active in the first years o f Okla. Czech Inc. of Yukon. She is survived by 2 nephews, Mr. Al Zajic and Ernest Divis both of OKC. 2 nieces Mrs. Helen Hamilton of OKC and Mrs Libby Hawk of Hennessey, OK.
