Bio

Ethel Fincher, 90, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at her home in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 14, 2013, at the J. E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013, in Myrtle Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Cashion officiating. Ethel was born in Ennis, Texas, to the late Ellis and Mamie (Phillips) Walker. She grew up in Ennis and attended Ennis schools. On October 25, 1940, she married Grady L. Fincher. She and her husband spent their entire lives in Ennis. Ethel loved fishing and gardening in her spare time. She was employed by Storey Manufacturing of Ennis and retired in 1970. She is survived by sons, Kenneth Wayne Fincher and his wife, Donna Kay, and Larry Fincher and his wife, Ann, all of Ennis; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Hume Emma Vines, both of Dallas; many other relatives and numerous friends.
