Bio
Agnes H. Mountain Collins was the daughter of Aaron Mountain and his second wife, Mary Kennard Mountain. Cumberland Evening Times, 24 Feb 1937, p. 12, col. 3 MRS. J.G. COLLINS Mrs. Agnes Collins, 67, widow of J. G. Collins, died early today at her home in Bedford, Pa., Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. A. D. Miller, at home; a son, McKinely Collins, of Friends Cove, Pa.; three brothers, Tobias Mountain, Cumberland; Elmer and Alva Mountain, and one sister, Mrs. George Collins, Artemas, Pa. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Mt. Zion Christian Church, Mt. Zion, Pa., Rev. Walter Twigg, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Of interest is her Pennsylvania Death Certificate #15623 which states that her father was Aaron Mountain but her mother was Mary Mills. The informant was Mrs. Sylvia Miller of Bedford. Did Aaron Mountain have three wives?
