s/o Victor Theodore Jurasek (1893-1973) and Antonia E Kacal (1893-1973) married 4 Jun 1946 to Mildred Leona Spanihel had 3 children: Victoria Annett, Elroy James and Susan Marie PORT LAVACA - Victor John Jurasek Jr., 92, of Port Lavaca, passed away on June 20, 2009. He was born on Dec. 1, 1916, in El Campo, to the late Victor T. and Tonie Kacal Jurasek. He was retired from Alcoa and was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his daughters, Victoria Cuellar and husband Leon of Port Lavaca and Susan Baker and husband Arthur of Olivia; sons, Elroy Jurasek of Olivia and Dale Jurasek and wife Christine of Rockport; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Spanihel Jurasek; and brothers, William and Alvin Jurasek. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today at Triska Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Triska Funeral Home with Deacon Edward Wendel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Nada. Pallbearers will be Patrick Baker, Michael Baker, Whitney Jurasek, Corey Jurasek, Zachary Jurasek, and Dallas Jurasek. Funeral services are under the direction of Triska Funeral Home.
