Bio

son of Samuel Nathaniel Cretsinger - Sarah T. Neely married to Mrs. Mary Cretsinger, his wife, who was informant. C.T. Cretsinger, 84, moved to West Texas in 1855 from Illinois. He was an outstanding figure among the Indian fighters of this Stephens, Young, Shackelford, Palo Pinto, Parker and Wise Counties. He lived at Gordon for some time before moving to the home near Weatherford. Survived by his wife - Mary Jane Cretsinger and Mrs. Adolphus Kincaid of Breckenridge. He was buried in the Irby cemetery near Weatherford. C.T. Crestsinger married Martha Ellen Bundy on 14 February 1875 at Parker County, Texas. She preceded him in death. BA
