Veteran of World War II Hilmer Elo HAAS Hilmer Elo HAAS, 51, of 213 Pecan Drive, died Saturday morning in a Baytown hospital. He was a resident of Baytown 26 years and was supervisor in the rigging department of Humble Oil and Refining Co.'s Baytown Refinery. HAAS was a World War II veteran and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie HAAS; one son, Leslie Edward HAAS and one daughter, Joyce Marie HAAS, all of Baytown; his mother, Mrs. Nora HAAS of Halletsville. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Earthman Chapel, and at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Earthman Chapel. Msgr. Joseph P.
