Bio
Berdean Walter 83, died at Appledorn Care Center in Holland, Michigan on January 11, 2010. Berdean was born April 18, 1926 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska the daughter of Forrest and Nadean (Reeder) Moore. She grew up and went to school in the Scottsbluff area. She married Walter Leo Walter on December 17, 1946 in Scottsbluff. Her whole life was dedicated to providing a good home for her family. She enjoyed farm life and assisting Leo with chores. Her hobbies included walking and gardening. She enjoyed going to Dutch Hops with Leo and visiting with friends while his unendless love to dance kept him going throughout the evening. She had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and had been battling the disease for the last eight years. Berdean is survived by two sons, Gary Walter of Battle Mountain, Nevada and Larry Walter and his wife Rachelle of Holland, Michigan; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo; her parents; and one brother. © Colyer Funeral January 2010
