Bio
Annie Pokladnik Petr passed away on July 8, 2013 at the age of 88. She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Donald Petr, daughter in-law, Frances, two grandsons, Kenneth and Robert Petr and one great grandson, Micah Petr. She is also survived by three sisters, Mary Kubin, Lillian Maxcy and Martha Mahdak Frnka, two sisters in-law, Libby Pavelka and Bessie Petr and numerous nieces and nephews. She was born on March 24, 1925 in Dallas and attended North Dallas High School. In 1950 she married Edwin Petr, who predeceased her in 2004. Annie worked at Sears for 25 + years and was active in the SPJST Lodge 84, Sears Retiree Club and the Dallas Circle of Czech women. Her family thanks the staff at CC Young for the outstanding care provided to Annie during her 7 year residence. Visitation will be at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Hwy., Dallas, TX from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2013. A Funeral Service will be at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 10:00 am with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
