Married Karen Lynn Walsh on 25 FEB 1970 OBIT: The Clarksville Times, 22 March 2007: Don C. French, age 78, of Avery, Texas, passed away March 16, 2007, at his residence. He was born December 23, 1928, in Oak Landing, the son of Harrison Morton and Violet Yuhr French. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. French is survived by his wife: Karen Walsh French of the home; two sons: Marshall Lee French of Porterville, CA, Donn Carlos French II of Clarksville, IN; two daughters: Ruthie Lynn (French) Kendall of New Albany, IN, Caren Marie French of Avery; brothers: Ralph Lee French of Tucson, AZ, Mark Anthony French of Washington, IN; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services, with Military Rites, were held Wednesday, March 21, at 4:00 p.m., in Magnolia Cemetery in New Boston, with Rev. Veronica officiating. Services were under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
