Bio

Son of Joseph and Arabella Bird Young. Married Ellen Parr on March 25, 1914. They were the parents of three children. In early February of 1920, Royal fell ill with influenza. He was treated at home, though his condition deteriorated after about a week. He passed away on February 14, 1920. His wife, Nellie, was a little over three months away from giving birth to their third child. She was left to raise their two older children, Royal (4) and Ellen (2) on her own. Royal was buried in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park on February 18, 1920.
