Bio

Daughter of Paul & Emma (Huff) Engel. In 1924, she graduated from Wood River High School. She furthered her education at Hastings College, graduating in 1928. She did her graduate work at the University of Nebraska, the University of Denver and at Columbia University in New York City. She taught Latin and history in Nebraska for several years. She was a librarian at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue and was a librarian at the Omaha Public Library at Omaha.
