Gary Weldon Hopkins April 23, 1941- June 28, 2013 Gary Weldon Hopkins was born on April 23, 1941 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George and Ruby Hopkins. He passed away on June 27, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gary Weldon HOPKINS, Jr. , brother, Harold Hopkins, and sisters, Queva J HOPKINS DIXON HENDRICKS and Anna Isabel HOPKINS MARRS . He attended Midlothian schools and after graduation attended the University of Texas. Gary worked in the pharmaceutical sales business for 22 years and for the Department of Human Services for the next 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hopkins, children, Alicia Hopkins-Botello and husband, Chris of Blue Ridge, TX, Barbara Talsma and husband, David of North Carolina, Neil Mellon and wife, Debbie of Phoenix, AZ, and grandchildren, Austin Hopkins of Cedar Hill, TX, David Neil and Michael Talsma of N.C. and Sarah, Daniella and Jessica Mellon of Phoenix. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013 with services following at 11:00 a.m at Midlothian Funeral Home. Burial will be at Midlothian Cemetery.
