Emilie "Millie" Patak Trojacek, 90, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013, in Ennis, Texas. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2013 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with a Rosary at 6 p.m. A Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Millie was born in Creechville, Texas, to the late Rudolph and Lillian (Nekuza) Patak. She grew up in Creechville. On February 14, 1953, Millie married Leslie Trojacek and they made their home in Garrett, Texas. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT #16. Millie enjoyed gardening, canning (especially pickles), quilting with her mother, making over thirty quilts over the years, and helping out on the family farm. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of over 59, Leslie Trojacek, on April 20, 2012; and one brother. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Ennis Daily News: 7/5/2013
