Bio
Delores was born January 3, 1935 to Hardeman "Pete" and Birdie (Case) Mayfield. She attended Ringgold High School and married John Henry Pittman Sr. on November 21, 1949 in Henrietta, Texas. Delores worked as a beautician for forty years and prepared income tax for H&R Block and out of her home. She was an avid painter, reader, and her kids were extremely important to her. Deloris enjoyed crafts, art shows, quilting, and ranching on the family farm. Delores is preceded in death by her parents, Hardeman "Pete" and Birdie Mayfield; husband, John Henry Pittman Sr.; grandson, Chad Pittman; and sister, Ruby Atkins. Delores is survived by her children, Ann Pittman of Wichita Falls, Brenda Gibson of Houston, John Pittman Jr. and wife, Tamra of Belcherville, Donna Taubert and husband, Don of Wichita Falls, and Kim Pittman and Clint Thompson of Haslet; grandchildren, Lisa Garza of Houston, Jeff Thompson of De Kalb, Illinois, Tiffany Deanda of Dallas, Dennis Gibson of Mankins, Tra Pittman of Bowie, Dustin Pittman of Bowie, and Sarah Deaton of Fayetteville, Arkansas; ten great grandchildren; sister, Rosa Lee Crawford of Sacramento, California; numerous nieces and nephews.
