Bio

Virgil Disney June 4,1920-Feb 21,2012 Virgil John Disney, the son of Joseph H. and Mary A. (Treblik) Disney, was born on June 4, 1920 at Lodgepole. He attended school in and around Lodgepole and graduated from Lodgepole High School with the Class of 1938. Virgil enlisted in the United States Army Air Corp on February 21, 1942 and received his Honorable Discharge on December 1, 1945. He returned to the family farm and on January 25, 1951 was united in marriage to Agnes Arlene Hegarty at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Peetz, CO. They made their home on the family farm south of Lodgepole until 1981 when they retired and moved into Lodgepole.Virgil had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lodgepole and later St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chappell and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors include: One son: Ken Disney and wife Karla of Lodgepole; One daughter: Madeline Colling and husband Bill of Casper, WY; Six grandchildren: Jennifer Sesley and husband Danielle, Rebecca Colling, Michelle Thompson and husband Bill, Andrew Colling and wife Lisa all of Casper, WY, Shanna Disney of Minatare and Stephanie Disney of Lodgepole; Nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Virgil was preceded in death by his wife: Agnes, an infant daughter: Alice Marie, his parents: Joe and Mary, Five siblings: Floyd Treblik and wife Agnes, Paul Disney, Edward Disney and wife Marjorie, Arthur Disney and wife Rose and Maureen Luxa and husband Arlan and One great-grandson: Jacob Frimml.
