Bio

Frank Kalvoda, 83, of Collegedale, died on Monday, June 7, 2010. He was a joyful Seventh-day Adventist Christian. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an honest car dealer for 56 years. He was a lover of life, people, laughter and desserts. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Amelia Weir Kalvoda; brother, James Kalvoda; and sisters, Mildred Campbell and Agnes Hughes. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Janell Fogg Kalvoda; brother, Joseph Kalvoda; sons, Alan and James Kalvoda; daughter, Sharlene Carman; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous other treasured friends and relatives. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, at 6 p.m. at Standifer Gap Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8310 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
