Bio
Patsy Ann Cross Jessen, 72, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 North 2nd Street, Abilene, with Garland Cross officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Fairmount Cemetery, Avenue N and Bryant Boulevard, San Angelo, Texas, with a military honor guard. The services will be directed by Community Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a visitation 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. before the service. Patsy was born March 17, 1941 in San Angelo, Texas to Hugh Thomas Cross and Sealy Ilene Cross. She served in the Army from 1976 to 1980, reaching the grade of E5 Sgt. in three years, with one tour in Germany. After her time in the Army, Patsy lived out her life in Abilene, Texas, and worked for General Dynamics until they closed the plant. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Everette, Horace, Victor, and Carl; and four sisters, Mildred, Dorothy, Maxine, and Mickey. Survivors include one sister, Sharon Fenner and husband, Ed; one brother-in-law, Allen Jones; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and their families. Community Memorial Funeral Home
