Mary H. Damron of Amarillo, TX, formerly of Friona, TX, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Amarillo, TX. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 1:00 – 9:00 PM at Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home in Friona, TX. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 24, 2013 at Sudan Cemetery in Sudan, TX. Arrangements by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona, TX. Mary was born on October 29, 1921 in Lake View, TX to Warren Nelson Williams and Lillie Belle Anderson Williams. She attended schools in Lake View and graduated from Lake View High School. She married Floyd Damron in Circle Back, TX, he preceded her in death. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bovina. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter, Carolyn Sabbe, 1 grandson, David Loe, and 9 brothers and sisters. Survivors: 2 Daughters: Tammy Damron of Ruidoso, NM; Pat Loe of Ft. Worth, TX; 1 Sister: Corinne Srygley of Littlefield, TX; 4 Grandchildren: Carol Sawyer, Todd Loe, Heath Sabbe, Kelli Maddox; 6 Grandchildren: Brock Sabbe, Tyler Wormsbaker, Tallon Sabbe, Kenley Maddox, Saylem Maddox, Tabbitha Harris ----- (Published in Amarillo Globe-News, June 23, 2013) Mary H. Damron, 91, of Amarillo and formerly of Friona died Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sudan Cemetery in Sudan with the Rev. Brian Mullins, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bovina, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell-Mullins Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Damron was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Lakeview to Warren Nelson Williams and Lillie Belle Anderson Williams. She married Floyd Damron in Clovis, N.M. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Carolyn Sabbe; a grandson, David Loe; and nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Damron of Ruidoso, N.M. and Pat Loe of Fort Worth; a sister, Corinne Srygley of Littlefield; four grandchildren, Carol Sawyer, Todd Loe, Heath Sabbe and Kelli Maddox; and six great-grandchildren, Brock Sabbe, Tyler Wormsbaker, Tallon Sabbe, Kenley and Saylem Maddox and Tabbitha Harris.
