Father of Evlynne, Myrle, Max, Julia Mae & Cassie Garrett Mr. Garrett's monument states that he was born in 1890, but according to his World War I Draft Registration Card and the 1900 U.S. Census, he was actually born on June 9, 1886. He lived in Flomaton, Escambia County, Alabama in 1920. His father was born in Florida, and his mother was born in Alabama.
