Walla Walla Union-Bulletin - Wednesday, June 27, 1956, Walla Walla, Washington Rites Held for Bureau Engineer PASCO — Services were held Tuesday afternoon at a local chapel for Edmond W. Woodard, 60, of 807 S. Bridge St , who died at his, home Friday evening. He was a construction engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation and had resided in Pasco and Mesa for three years. A native of Sugartown, La., where he was born in June 18, 1896, he was a member of the Christian Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, World War 1 Veterans, Barracks 260, and the Elks lodge. Surviving are; his wife Dorcas at the family home; a son John A. Woodard, U. S. Army; two daughters, Mrs. Emma M. Winters, El Monte, Calif., and Miss Alice D. Woodard, Spokane; three grandchildren; his stepmother, Mrs. Ellen Woodard; and a brother, Lewis Woodard, De Ritter, La.; and two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Lamberth, Port Arthur, Tex., and Miss Minnie Woodard, De Ritter, La. Rev. Paul Nance of the First Christian Church conducted the service. Burial was in City View Cemetery, Pasco
