Graveside services for Carroll Lee Treybig, 59, of Houston were held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery with the Rev. Msgr. Ben Mazurkiewicz officiating. Prior services were held at 1 p.m. at Waltrip Funeral Home in Houston. Mr. Treybig died Monday in Heights Hospital. A Fayette County native, he was born may 5, 1929, the son of the late Adlaie and Edna (Cordes) Treybig. He was united in marriage with Bessie Holub Nov. 21, 1954 in Fayetteville. He retired from Tube Turns Plant in Houston and presently was employed by National Flange. Survivors include: his wife, Bessie Treybig of Houston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Chet Brame of The Woodlands and Cindy and Michael Richmond of Bastrop; three sons, Clyde Treybig of Anchorage, Ak., Charles and his wife Vicki Treybig and Chris Treybig of Houston; six sisters, Sybil Koether of La Masa, Ca., Anna Mae Crider of Austin, Dorothy Vasut of Fayetteville, Eunice Wienken of Columbus, Vernell Johnson of Vidor and Sylvia Franke of Houston; three brothers, Clemens Treybig of Riverton, Wy., Calvin Treybig of Texas City and Cleward Treybig of Houston; and two grandsons, Brandon and Blair Brame of The Woodlands.
