(Published in The Daily Oklahoman (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) - 20 May 1948, Thu - Page 28) YUKON, May 19 - (Special) - Joe Cerny, 71, Yukon farmer, died of a heart ailment Wednesday afternoon in Hinton hospital after an illness of 10 days. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Turner funeral home, Yukon, with burial in Yukon cemetery. Born in Czechoslovakia, March 10, 1877, Cerny came to the United States in 1894 and settled in Texas. He live in Prague from 1927 until moving to Yukon in 1929. He was a member of ZCBJ, Czechoslovakian lodge. Survivors include his wife; a son, Oscar, and a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Stejskal, all of Yukon, and a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Gelnar, Mangum.
