WOODARD, Frances Nell of Mesquite, born March 26, 1930, in Wichita Falls, Texas and passed away April 11, 2006, in Mesquite, Texas, Preceded in death by husband of 56 years, T. O. "Woody" Woodard and son-in-law, Jack Doyal, brother, James Potts. Survived by daughters, Janet Doyal, Gladys Layne and Allan, Susan McKinney and Wayne; son, Sonny Woodard; grandchildren, Allan Layne II & Tammy, Alicia Coplin & Rick, Juli Doyal, Toby & Micah McKinney, Niki & Mandi Woodard; great grandchildren, Caden & Kinley Coplin, Megan, Morgan & Madeline; brother, George Potts and Melba; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Service will be 2:00PM Friday April 14, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Mesquite, 127 E. Kimbrough, Mesquite, TX. 75149 with Dr.. Brandon Ridgeway officiating. Burial: Laurel Oaks Memorial Park Frances retired from Safeway after 28 years. Frances loved the kitchen and loved to bake. She made the best pecan pies, angel food cakes & cinnamon rolls. She also made a lot of great cookies and candy. She also made the best Turkey and Dressing. Frances & Woody were members of Liberty Baptist Church, Dallas, Tx. Frances & Woody were married 56 years. They had 4 children, 3 girls & 1 Boy. Janet Woodard Doyal, Gladys Woodard Layne Susan Woodard McKinney (Sonny) Thad Odell Woodard, Jr.
