Mary Jane Henderson married Finis Nichols September 20, 1933 in Cotton County, Oklahoma Mary Jane Henderson Nichols, 94, of Wichita Falls, died Sunday, February 17, 2008. The funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2008, at Lamar Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Roberson, Rev. Kile Bateman and Rev. Jess Peek, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. A daughter of the late John Pettis and Gertie (Self) Henderson, she was born January 16, 1914, in Johnson County, Texas. She and her eleven siblings were raised on a dairy farm in Archer County. She graduated from Lake Creek School in Archer County, where she was active in tennis and baseball. She married Finis Lee Nichols in Walters, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death. She retired from Service Printing Company, where she worked for thirty-three years. She was a member of Lamar Baptist Church, AARP, the Senior Zone and Tops. She and Mr. Nichols were involved with the "Hotter N' Hell" for it's first ten years. She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Scott Nichols and a great-grandson, Daniel Madison Myracle. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lee (Curry) Lopez and husband, Jim of Wichita Fals; Lynda Myracle of Wichita Falls; and Molly Moore and husband, Robert of Wichita Falls; sisters, Johnnie Mae Fuller of Archer County; and Imogene Pounds of Safford, Arizona; seventeen grandchildren; forty-three great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
