JOE YOUNG, residing near Grand River, fell from the hay mow at the Fowler livery barn in that place last Saturday night, death resulting from the injury instantly. His neck was broken and his skull fractured. Mr. YOUNG, who resides on a farm near the town of Grand River, had taken his team to the Fowler barn for the night expecting to remain in town until Sunday morning. He had been invited to spend the night at the CARRIE BRADSHAW home and in company with Mr. BRADSHAW and HARRISON BROWN he went to the barn to see that his horses were supplied with plenty of hay before he went to the BRADSHAW home. Mr. YOUNG climbed up into the hay mow and had thrown down one armful and had evidently turned to gather up another armful when he lost his foothold and fell to the cement floor of the barn below. His companions rushed to his aid but found that death had evidently resulted They summoned physicians immediately who found that his neck had been broken and his skull fractured by the terrible fall. His sister, Mrs. FRED BONE, was notified of the accident and she hurried to the Fowler barn and was present while physicians were making the examination. The body was taken to the BONE home where the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, interment following in the Young Cemetery one mile east of the town of Grand River.
