Bio
Charles Everett Schneider, 88, of Ft. Worth, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, in Hurst. Interment will follow at 2 p.m., in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Charles was born in Mart, Texas, to the late Edward H. and Mary M. Schneider. He married Ann Regina Horak in 1948 and remained with her until his passing. After completing his high school education, Charles was a U.S. Navy combat veteran of World War II. After that he begin his career in the railroad with Missouri Pacific Railroad, along with a few years working at General Tire and Rubber Co. in Waco. Charles retired in 1989 after an extended career with the railroad and enjoyed a long retirement until his passing. Charles was preceded in death by two brothers; and six sisters. Survivors include his wife, Ann; children, Audrey and husband, Eddie, and Chuck and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Chris and wife, Lauren, Steve and wife, Michele, Bobby and wife, Christine, and Romy and husband, John; great-grandchildren, Cole, Emerald, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Katelynn, Bobby Jr., Emily, David, Amanda and Evelyn; many other relatives and numerous friends.
